THE STYLISH STUFF: RICH PICKINGS

Luxurious velvet, peekaboo lace and decadent sequins are the perfect ingredients for laid back luxe. Black, gold and rich burgundy are your go to hues and languid is the vibe.  A glossy, smoky eye and tousled, bed head hair – entirely optional, but oh-so cool.

THE STYLISH STUFF:  How to nail the Midnight Bohemian look

Make up artist Frances Prescott prepped Megan’s skin by spraying a cooling mist of Evian spray over the entire face, which she then followed by massaging the skin with Weleda Rose Day Cream. This freshens, hydrates and relaxes the face.  For the beautiful dewy finish, she mixed a little Dermalogica Barrier Repair with Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and blended it over the face and neck area with a soft brush. To define Megan’s stunningly shaped brows, she used Clinique’s Slim Brow Define and then applied Armani’s Sheer Dream Bronze to the eyelids and cheeks.  She used Sisley’s Black Kohl on the upper and lower lids, and a light dab of Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream on the lids to create the wet look finish, she then added lashings of Mac’s Upward Lash mascara. To bring a little colour to the look, Frances used Stila’s Field of Florals Dual Lip and Cheek palette on the cheeks and lips – keeping it light and sheer to let the eyes do all the work.

Frances’s MUSTS for a fresh, dewy skin.

Hair was sprayed with Aveda’s Thickening Spray and then tousled dry – a light spray of Paul Mitchell’s Stay Strong hair spray was used to keep the waves in place. Embellished velvet turban, Her Curious Nature  http://www.hercuriousnature.com/
