THE STYLISH STUFF: BRIGHT ON

In the spirit of Christmas The Stylish Stuff brings you a preview of some bright beauties from a rather wonderful cashmere company, Jumper 1234 , a small, naturally sustainable business that quite simply delivers gorgeous, modern cashmere design. ‘Born in London and bred in Mongolia’ – Jumper supports the nomadic herdsmen of the Mongolian plains directly, buying at a fair price and supporting the age-old tradition that respects the goats by hand-combing out fibres after the natural moulting that takes place after the harsh winters have finally come to an end. Machine washable, made by artisans and designed to make you smile, these pieces won’t break the bank and WILL live in your wardrobe for a long, long time. You’re welcome.

Little Cactus crew neck £157, Jumper 1234

Peace and Love crew neck £238, Jumper 1234

PEACE and LOVE, it’s that simple.

LASHINGS OF… In an homage to sixties icon Twiggy, make up artist Lisa Valencia chose to coat model Holly Fogg’s lashes in multiple applications of mascara to create a sense of drama and definition. She kept the skin very natural and focused entirely on the eyes.

Lisa says; “Lashings of mascara on both your top and bottom lashes is one of the fastest ways to channel your inner rock chick, it gives instant definition to your eyes without having to apply eyeliner or shadow, start with your top lashes and add around 4-5 coats of volumising mascara, allow each coat to dry in between, do the same to your bottom lashes, don’t worry about clumping, this is all part of the look. Team with your favourite jumper!” Lisa loves Eyeko’s Black Magic Mascara, £19, M&S.

Hairdresser Jonothon Malone chose to add texture and body to Holly’s hair creating a cool choppy, layered look, totally malleable and infinitely cool. Jonothon’s top tip – he creates his own texturiser with water and beer, yes you read right, he then adds a few essential oils for a delicious personalised scent, et voila – your very own home made cruelty free hair product.
